The Violets secured their place in the Women T20 final against unbeaten Roses by defeating Orchids yesterday at the Smith Road Oval.
Batting first, Orchids were limited to 86 for 4 wickets in a match reduced to 18 overs.
Vanessa Cameron (27) and Tamika Morgan (14) were the main scorers for Orchids. In reply, Violets Rosemarie Wilson 41 not out and Trudy Ann Weston 24 not out, came out blazing and Violets achieved victory in the 14 over by 9 wickets.
The Women T20 Final will be played on Sunday 7th December at Smith Road Oval featuring Roses lead by Wyvonne Forbes and Violets captained by Beverly Scott-Watson.
